Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement process, ensuring that materials and supplies are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively. This position requires strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of materials management, particularly in an e-commerce environment. The Procurement Assistant will work closely with various departments to facilitate purchasing activities and maintain supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

Assist in the procurement of goods and services necessary for operations.
Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Collaborate with the materials management team to assess inventory needs.
Utilize Netsuite systems to track orders, manage supplier information, and analyze procurement data.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts for future reference.
Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve any issues related to procurement.

Skills

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to procure goods at competitive prices.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their impact on procurement processes.
Proficient in materials management principles and practices.
Experience using SAP ERP systems for tracking inventory and orders is preferred.
Ability to analyze pricing trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with suppliers and internal teams effectively.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
