Company Description

KD Conservatory College of Film and Dramatic Arts provides students with the opportunity to earn an Associate of Applied Arts Degree in Motion Picture Production, Acting Performance, or Musical Theatre, as well as workshops for beginning and advanced actors.

The Conservatory, established in 1979, is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre and was ranked the #1 Film School in Texas by Best Value Colleges. It has also been recognized as an exemplary school by the Texas Workforce Commission.

Position Overview

The Admissions Representative plays a crucial role in recruiting students for KD Conservatory and serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students throughout the admissions process.

This position is responsible for providing guidance, information, and support to prospective students while helping them navigate the enrollment process. The Admissions Representative works closely with other departments to ensure students have a successful experience in degree programs and workshops.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, consultative sales skills, and a commitment to providing an exceptional student experience.

Essential Responsibilities

Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective students by phone, email, text, and virtual platforms.
Conduct admissions interviews to understand applicants’ educational and career goals.
Present program information, admissions requirements, tuition details, and campus resources.
Schedule and conduct campus tours and virtual information sessions.
Guide applicants through the admissions and enrollment process.
Maintain accurate records in the institution’s CRM and student information systems.
Follow up consistently with prospective students to ensure completion of enrollment requirements.
Meet individual enrollment goals and activity metrics while maintaining ethical recruitment practices.
Participate in career fairs, community events, and recruitment activities.
Collaborate with Financial Aid, Student Services, and Academic departments to provide a seamless student experience.
Reports Directly to Director of Admissions
Stay current on institutional policies, accreditation standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Work Environment

Office-based position located in Dallas, Texas.
Occasional evening and weekend events may be required.
Frequent communication with prospective students through phone calls, video meetings, and in-person interactions.
Fast-paced environment with enrollment goals, performance metrics, and student engagement expectations.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1–3 years of experience in admissions, sales, recruiting, customer service, or business development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Comfortable making outbound calls and managing a high-volume lead pipeline.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in higher education admissions or career education.
Experience working in a performance-based sales environment.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
