Full Job Description

We are opening more locations in the Twin Cities and are looking for shift leaders in the Edina areas! Check out our website at www.sweetparis.com for pictures and info about our brand!

In this role, you will oversee and maintain store operations, organizing, training and be the leader on shift to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation. You will be a leader in motivating the team, resolving conflicts and making store decisions.

❖ Duties & Responsibilities:

Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
Train and supervise staff to ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures.
Cross-train staff to improve productivity and service.
Ensure that all equipment is kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by ensuring the staff is following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.

❖ Be Customer-Centric

Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations; be able to fill any position when needed.

❖ Assist With Operational Tasks

Assist in inventory procedures.
Assist with vendor orders (food, wine, beer, restaurant supplies, CO2, etc.) based on sales projections when needed.
Resourceful problem solver.
Control discounts and comps.
o Complete all required paperwork, including forms, reports and etc. in a timely manner.
Treat all staff with respect and communicate effectively providing task direction.
Be available on weekends.

❖ Experience Preferred:

1-2+ years work experience in restaurant management or similar role in the hospitality industry.
High School degree or equivalent preferred.
18+ years of age required.
Stamina: Long, busy days on your feet.
Multitask: Perform a variety of tasks - a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Certifications: Food Safety Certified required (Can be trained), other certifications may be required based on local state or county requirements.
Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
