Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Health Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing services focused on the health and well-being of employees, with an emphasis on injury prevention, health education, and managing work-related health issues.

Shift: M-F 07:30 - 16:00

Pay: $55/hr on W2

Duties

Primary Duties include health screens on new hires, provision of necessary vaccines to protect caregivers working in our facilities, blood and body fluid exposure management, respiratory protection training and communicable disease management. We do not provide direct patient care.
Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of employees’ health status, including management of acute injuries and illnesses.
Provide first aid, CPR, and crisis intervention as needed to ensure immediate care for work-related or personal emergencies.
Develop individualized care plans incorporating behavioral health strategies, addiction counseling, and crisis management techniques.
Facilitate health education sessions focusing on injury prevention, wellness promotion, and chronic disease management.
Coordinate with social services to identify resources such as Medicaid, Medicare, Section 8 housing assistance, and social support programs for employees with diverse needs.
