Job description

Growing business is looking for an experienced full charge bookkeeper to help with a variety of bookkeeping tasks.

Candidate must have experience working with multiple clients at the same time. This position is not just for A/R & A/P processing. It is full client write-up and financial statement preparation.

Position also requires applicant to be able to process personal tax returns. You must have this experience to apply for this position.

Job Summary

· Reconcile accounts, credit cards, bank accounts, monthly vendor statements

· Post & Maintain journal entries

· Month End and Final Reports

· Year End Tax Preparation

· Prepare business license and personal property tax reports

· Assist with workers' compensation audits

· Prepare sales tax filings

· Applicant must have a strong background in QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Intuit ProSeries Tax Software and Fixed Asset Manager, & MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Attention to detail & organized

· General office admin tasks and supportive duties

· Must have Tax Preparation experience - preferably with Intuit ProSeries products but not required.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping

· Must have extensive experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Software

· Detail and deadline oriented

· Ability to multitask and prioritize

· Proficient written and oral English skills

· Experience with Intuit ProSeries Tax Software very welcome but other software is fine

Worksite:

· In office position, not available for satellite work

Job Type: Part-time 24 -32 hours a week with potential for additional hours during peak times

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday with some flexibility
