About Optima Health

Optima Health provides mobile primary care services to senior living communities and patients across Southern California. We partner with senior living facilities, care teams, and community organizations to improve access to consistent, high-quality healthcare for older adults.

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Executive to help expand Optima Health’s presence across Riverside County. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of trust, follow-through, and long-term partnerships in healthcare.

Position Overview

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining referral relationships with senior living communities, healthcare partners, and local organizations. This person will represent Optima Health in the field, create new growth opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships, and help connect more patients with reliable mobile primary care.

The ideal candidate is professional, proactive, and comfortable developing relationships with executive directors, wellness directors, community leaders, and referral partners throughout Riverside County.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with senior living facilities, assisted living communities, memory care communities, and healthcare organizations
Identify new business development opportunities throughout Riverside County
Represent Optima Health during facility visits, networking events, community outreach, and partner meetings
Educate facility leaders, care teams, residents, families, and community partners on Optima Health’s mobile primary care services
Build trust with executive directors, wellness directors, and key decision-makers in senior living communities
Support growth within existing contracted facilities by strengthening relationships and increasing awareness of services
Track outreach activity, referral sources, follow-ups, and relationship progress
Report market feedback, referral trends, and growth opportunities to leadership
Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth onboarding of new facilities and patients
Maintain a consistent, professional, and relationship-driven presence in the community

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in healthcare business development, sales, marketing, community outreach, or referral relationship management preferred
3–5 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience working with senior living facilities, assisted living communities, home health, hospice, medical groups, or healthcare referral partners is strongly preferred
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Comfortable with in-person outreach, networking, and field-based business development
Highly organized, self-motivated, and consistent with follow-up
Professional, reliable, and able to represent Optima Health with confidence
Knowledge of the Riverside County healthcare or senior care market preferred
Ability to travel regularly throughout Riverside County
Reliable transportation required

Compensation & Benefits

$50,000–$60,000 annual salary
