Job Summary
The Accounting IT Specialist is responsible for managing, consolidating, and maintaining accounting and financial data across multiple accounting systems and ERP platforms. This role serves as the bridge between Accounting, Finance, and Information Technology departments, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, successful ERP migrations, reporting automation, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge combined with technical expertise in ERP systems, database management, spreadsheet automation, and macro development. Experience with QuickBooks, Sage X3, data migration projects, and financial reporting systems is required.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Data Management & Consolidation

Consolidate accounting and financial data from multiple sources, systems, and business units.
Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.
Develop and manage standardized financial data structures and reporting frameworks.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes.

ERP Administration & Data Migration

Lead ERP data migration, conversion, validation, and cleansing projects.
Manage master data including customers, vendors, chart of accounts, inventory, and financial transactions.
Coordinate ERP implementation, upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
Develop migration strategies between legacy systems and ERP platforms.
Document migration procedures and maintain audit trails.

Systems Integration & Automation

Create, maintain, and optimize macros, scripts, and automation tools for:
QuickBooks
Sage X3
Microsoft Excel
Google Sheets

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
