Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this key role, you will oversee the efficient management of inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate warehouse distribution activities, and ensure inventory control accuracy. Your leadership will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and foster a collaborative team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing operation that values innovation, safety, and operational excellence.

Shipping Responsibilities:

Examine shipment contents and compare them with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to customer requirements and company standards.
Create and verify shipping documents (packing lists, bills of lading, shipping labels)
Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
Coordinate pickups with carriers (LTL, freight, parcel)
Inspect finished goods for accuracy and quality before shipment
Load trucks safely using forklifts or pallet jacks
Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock
Build skids and/or containers as required for protection and safe transport to their final destination.
Pack disassembled components for shipment per instructions.
Stage packed components for shipment.

Receiving Responsibilities:

Unload incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders
Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies
Record receipts in the inventory or ERP system
Deliver materials to appropriate departments or storage locations

Inventory & Material Handling Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts
Organize warehouse and storage areas for efficiency and safety
Replenish production materials as needed
Follow FIFO or other material‑handling procedures

General Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift within the safety procedures and policies prescribed.
Regular attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
Read, interpret and follow basic Cad Drawings and other written instructions and/or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
Provide personal tools according to the department tool list.
Laser etching
Perform set-up, material handling duties, and minor general maintenance.
Responsible for area housekeeping.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Participate in the processes of continuous improvement including efforts to meet company smart goals.
Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.
Perform any other task or assignments as designated by supervisor.

Education & Experience

A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 3-5 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience (manufacturing preferred)

Administrative — Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and workplace terminology.
Mechanical * — Knowledge of mechanical components.

Technical Drawing * - Knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings to assembly processes and instructions.
