· Maintain accurate shipment, vendor, cost, and service records in company systems and shared files; prepare routine status updates and operational reports for management.
· Source, qualify, and maintain relationships with local customs brokers, freight forwarders, drayage providers, trucking companies, and other logistics service providers.
· Develop and maintain a vendor-management process, including provider contact information, service scope, insurance and compliance documentation, performance history, and negotiated terms.
· Conduct regular comparisons of provider pricing, transit time, on-time performance, responsiveness, claims handling, and service quality; recommend the best-value providers for company needs.
· Support freight cost review, invoice verification, dispute resolution, and continuous improvement of import and warehouse logistics processes.
· Perform other logistics and operations coordination duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience in import logistics, freight forwarding, customs brokerage coordination, warehouse operations, or a closely related role preferred.
