Full Job Description

Having served the Trenton area for more than 45 years, Anchor House has been providing services to youth and young adults who have run away and those that are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness, abuse, or neglect. We are looking to add to our dynamic team!

Our ideal candidate is looking for a career with purpose in an established organization that is big enough to offer work in different areas, but still small enough that you are known by your name and not just a number.

We are currently seeking a Case Manager, for our Trenton Shelter, to join our team. Our Case Managers play a key role in implementing each client's case plan while ensuring thorough documentation and coordination of case management activities.

Salary Range: $50,000--$53,000

What You’ll Do:

Supervise clients (12-17 years of age) and lead life skills education and assessments.
Handle information processing, referral requests, donations, and transportation for youth.
Maintain all client files, including case plans and progress notes, as well as transportation records.
Coordinate referrals to other agencies and advocate for clients.
Organize and oversee recreational activities, involving youth in the scheduling.
Schedule and facilitate weekly house meetings for residents.

What You Bring:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related human services field
1+ years experience working with youth
Prior experience as a case manager preferred
Ability to work well in a team setting
Effective verbal and written communication skills
