The Opportunity

As Staff Accountant, you will work supporting A/P, A/R, record keeping, and a variety of accounting special projects. This is your opportunity to take your career to the next level by gaining experience in many areas of the financial cycle of a business.

Your day-to-day may include:

· Input accounting transactions into QuickBooks Online

· Accounts Receivable (A/R) – you will create customer invoices, input them into the accounting system, and support collection efforts as necessary

· Accounts Payable (A/P) – you will assist with processing invoices, performing a detailed review of complex invoices for accuracy, and checking information against contracts to verify detailed line items

· Transferring shop data and records into QuickBooks from the shop accounting records / verifying to ensure the accuracy of that data into QuickBooks

· Support financial analysis and data runs as needed

What we expect of you:

· 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role and/or related accounting education

· QuickBooks experience helpful – QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop or Intuit Enterprise System (IES)

· Experience with expense reporting systems helpful – Concur, Expensify

· Experience with Apple products helpful – we run on Mac computers

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel – ability to navigate multi-tab spreadsheets and complex formulas

· Previous experience working in an office setting, performing administrative tasks

Shift: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
Reports To: Director of Finance

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour based on experience
Location: Hybrid in-person four days a week at our Bluffdale location; remote one day a week
