About the Role

The Revenue Cycle Lead serves as the primary point of contact within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team, providing advanced support in patient accounts, billing resolution, payer follow-up, and denials management. This role provides day-to-day operational guidance and training support to the team, escalating issues as needed to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and an exceptional patient financial experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced team support for coding, billing, collections, denials, and AR aging functions

Resolve high-dollar aged patient accounts, including insurance, self-pay, and mixed-coverage

Perform preliminary claim analysis to identify root causes of denials, underpayments, and payment delays

Serve as the primary point of contact for patient account resolution

Support denials prevention, appeal preparation, and payer follow-up

Oversee processing of sliding fee discount program applications and payment plans

Ensure accuracy of team postings, adjustments, and reconciliations

Assist leadership with process improvement initiatives and workflow quality reviews

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management required

Experience in an FQHC, hospital, or multi-specialty healthcare environment required

Revenue cycle certification (CRCR, CHFP, CPC, or equivalent) preferred

Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Florida managed care, and commercial payer requirements

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Proficiency in eClinicalWorks and Microsoft Office, including Excel

Valid Florida driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation

Must pass Level II background check, fingerprinting, and E-Verify employment eligibility
