Administrative Clerk

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Shift: 8am-4:40pm Monday-Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and organized Administrative Clerk to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in office administration. The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided for all job-specific responsibilities.

Primary Purpose

The Administrative Clerk provides administrative support by performing basic office tasks, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with day-to-day operations to help ensure the office runs efficiently.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
Greet visitors and assist with general inquiries.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
File, organize, and retrieve paper and electronic documents.
Assist with copying, scanning, printing, and preparing documents.
Respond to emails and distribute office correspondence.
Maintain office supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars as needed.
Support other administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality of company information.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) or similar programs.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous office experience is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and telephone.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Ability to bend, reach, and file documents as needed.

Work Environment

Professional office setting.
On-the-job training provided.
Opportunity to develop administrative and customer service skills.
Monday through Friday schedule (hours may vary based on business needs).

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
