Senior Accountant – ERP Integration & Financial Reporting

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Pay Rate: $53.20/hour
Employment Type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support a key ERP integration and financial reporting initiative within a U.S. Accounting & Reporting team.

This position will play an important role in the transition of financial data into an Oracle ERP environment, with a strong focus on financial master data cleansing, validation, mapping, General Ledger activities, and financial reporting.

The Senior Accountant will work closely with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and IT teams to ensure financial data accuracy, reporting integrity, and a smooth ERP transition with minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead financial master data cleansing, validation, and mapping activities as part of an Oracle ERP integration.
Support the mapping and validation of General Ledger accounts, cost centers, strategic customers, and other financial master data.
Help ensure financial data integrity and accurate system configuration prior to ERP go-live.
Develop and support financial reporting required for the ERP transition and ongoing accounting operations.
Perform core Record-to-Report (R2R) accounting activities.
Support General Ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Review financial data, identify discrepancies, and support corrective actions.
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and IT stakeholders.
Support process improvements and help establish sustainable accounting and reporting processes following the ERP implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong professional experience as a Senior Accountant, GL Accountant, Accounting Analyst, or similar accounting role.
Strong experience with General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
Experience supporting ERP implementations, integrations, migrations, or financial system transitions.
Experience with financial master data cleansing, validation, mapping, or Chart of Accounts standardization.
Experience working with Oracle ERP or a similar enterprise financial system.
Strong understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working directly with Oracle ERP implementations or migrations.
Experience with IFRS financial reporting.
Experience with financial data migration, Chart of Accounts mapping, cost center mapping, or master data governance.
CPA or other relevant accounting certification is a plus.
Experience supporting accounting activities during acquisitions, integrations, or major organizational transformations.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on accounting experience with ERP integration knowledge. We are particularly interested in professionals who have participated in financial data migrations, Chart of Accounts cleanup or mapping, Oracle implementations, and General Ledger/R2R activities, while partnering with multiple business functions.

Pay: $53.37 per hour
