Full Job Description

The Kitchen on Main is a local craft kitchen restaurant.
Preferred candidates will possess these qualities:

Understanding of cooking skills, knife handling, and safety
Ability to take direction from the Sous Chefs and Executive Chef
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the staff
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Set up stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Ability to work with speed and efficiency
Fortitude to work in a fast-paced environment

We have recently Opened our new Wine Cellar. The Wine Cellar is for exclusive dinner service and pre-booked events. Opening in September is our new Pantry. We have expanded our seating with a new cocktail bar/coffee bar/smoothies and juice/retail wine/craft beer/specialty house made foods/charcuterie/and local area goods. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual who enjoys creating beautiful food

We offer full- and part- time positions at competitive wages as well as overtime for the right, talented and motivated individuals. We offer room for growth throughout our restaurant group, as well as allow flexibility in scheduling for hard workers who have pursuits outside of work (although weekend availability is mandatory).

Wage will be discussed by amount of experience you have and work schedule

Candidate must be able to stand for significant periods of time, lift 25+ pounds, be able to utilize commercial equipment to standard and safety protocol, be able to clean and maintain an organized workspace utilizing servsafe and FDA guidelines.
