Full Job Description

FULL-TIME SECRETARY/FRONT END RECEPTIONIST for a busy, innovative, highly respected, interventional pain practice. This is a great opportunity to join an established practice with a supportive and cohesive medical team.

MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE AS A SECRETARY IN A MEDICAL OFFICE ENVIRONMENT. Applicant must be an exceptionally organized, strong attention to detail, motivated, and outgoing individual with excellent customer service and communications skills. We are looking for an upbeat professional that will demonstrate compassionate care to our patients and exhibit a “can do” approach to their job. This position is the first in-person point of contact for a patient on behalf of our medical practice.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greeting patients
Registration and scheduling of patients
Answering incoming Calls
Patient check In
Collecting co-pay and bill balances
Verifying insurance
Coordinating incoming faxes and correspondence
Excellent customer service skills
Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport
The position is highly visible, requiring discretion, good judgment, a pleasant and professional manner, and articulate phone voice

Prior experience with electronic medical record is essential. Applicant must demonstrate a team attitude and work well with others in a small busy office.

Compensation based on experience.

Security Clearances are needed: You will need child clearances, background check and FBI finger printing prior to starting employment.

Location: Sewickley, PA · Full-time daylight position is 40 hours per week. No evenings, weekends, or holidays. Comprehensive benefit package.
