Full Job Description

Home Instead is seeking a Staffing/HR Coordinator who is passionate about scheduling and making incredible matches with clients and Care Pros. As our Staffing/HR Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting and scheduling the Care Pros who make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families every day. We pay a very competitive salary with opportunity for growth. The Staffing/HR Coordinator will be a part of the Staffing Department and Human Resource Department.
The right individual for the Staffing/HR Coordinator position will be working in the office Monday through Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

Staffing:
Reflect the values of Trusted Care at Home, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise).
Track and reconcile WellSky entries, and monitor the Well Sky dashboard during working hours.
Create and maintain client and Care Professional schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and the development of extraordinary relationships.
Coordinate and maintain Care Professional and client schedules on a daily basis.
Ensure that all open shifts are consistently staffed out two weeks in advance.
Monitor, mediate, and log all client and Care Professional activity utilizing the software system.
Monitor each client's schedule every day to ensure that there are no missing shifts.
Monitor each caregiver's schedule every day to ensure that there are no overlapping/double booked shifts.
Demonstrate open and effective communication with General Manager, colleagues and Care Professionals.
Demonstrate an honest, trustworthy, and supportive relationship with the General Manager.
Human Resources:
Training.
HR Onboarding.
Assist with managing employment records.
Manage HR forms (i.e., time-off request forms, availability forms, etc.).
Perform any and all other functions and responsibilities deemed necessary or as assigned by the General Manager or HR/Staffing Coordinator and HR/Staffing Assistant.
As part of your HR duties, oversee Long Term Care insurance for our clients.
Assist with Human Resource functions as requested.
The Staffing/HR Coordinator may be assigned weekdays and every other weekend to take emergency phone calls from the After-Hours Supervisor with staffing questions.

Education/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous staffing and human resource experience preferred.
One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn new tasks quickly and to handle a fast-paced challenging environment.
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
Experience with handling client concerns and a strong desire to provide the highest quality service.
Being organized, detail oriented, ability to multi-task, and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
Must have a positive attitude.
Meet or exceed minimum qualifications for each of the following checks: criminal history, motor vehicle driving record and drug test to be bondable.
Must hold a valid driver's license and active automobile insurance.
Professional integrity with no history of abuse toward a person.
