We're a growing, fee-only wealth management firm helping individuals and families make smart financial decisions through investment management and financial planning. As our tax practice continues to grow, we're looking for someone early in their career who is excited about taxes and wants to build a long-term career in wealth management.

This is an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while working directly with clients and becoming an important part of a collaborative advisory team.

What You'll Do

During tax season, you'll spend most of your time preparing individual tax returns and supporting our tax planning team.

Throughout the rest of the year, you'll become part of our wealth management team by helping deliver an exceptional client experience and supporting our advisors.

Your responsibilities will include:

Prepare and review individual income tax returns
Gather, organize, and analyze client tax documents
Assist with tax planning strategies throughout the year
Research tax questions and changing tax laws
Communicate with clients regarding tax information and requests
Support client meetings by preparing reports and financial information
Assist advisors with client service and ongoing financial planning
Work closely with our Director of Tax Planning, Garrett Murphy
Help improve internal processes using technology and AI tools

What We're Looking For

We're less concerned with years of experience than we are with attitude, curiosity, and a desire to learn.

You might be a great fit if you:

Have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Have experience preparing tax returns through an internship, seasonal role, volunteer work, or an entry-level position
Are an Enrolled Agent (or interested in becoming one) or have Accounting undergrad credits required to sit for the CPA exam. (CPA not required)
Enjoy learning and continuously improving your skills
Have excellent attention to detail
Communicate professionally and enjoy working with people
Are comfortable learning new technology and software
Have an interest in financial planning and wealth management
