Events & Marketing Coordinator

53k plus 2% sales commission

Position Summary

The Event & Venue Coordinator oversees all aspects of event planning and execution, serving as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through event completion. This role manages venue scheduling, client communications, event logistics, venue tours, emails, and marketing for both the venue and its affiliated catering restaurants - Tapas 177 & Sagra Italia. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required to support event operations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all venue events & calendars from booking through execution.
Serve as the primary contact for clients, handling all email correspondence and event-related communications.
Conduct venue tours for prospective clients and assist with event sales efforts.
Develop detailed event timelines and table layouts.
Collaborate with restaurant and venue staff to ensure seamless event execution.
Oversee day-of-event coordination and troubleshoot operational issues as needed.
Develop promotional campaigns, create marketing materials & manage social media platforms for Event 180 and its two affiliated catering restaurants - Tapas 177 & Sagra Italia

Qualifications

Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience in event coordination, hospitality, venue management, or related fields preferred.
Knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
Availability to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
