JOB TITLE: Associate Attorney
BUSINESS UNIT: Legal
LOCATION: Remote/Hybrid or Onsite (Office in Rochester, NY 14624)
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Court Related
POSITION REPORTS TO: Managing Attorney
POSITION TYPE: (FLSA) Full- Time Exempt, Professional
PAY RANGE: $85,000 - $100,000 (* ~range: qualifications and experience will be taken into consideration)

What You’ll Do:

As an Associate Attorney for Litigation, you will:

Represent financial institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings.
Manage case workflow and ensure compliance with client requirements, laws, and court rules.
Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
Attend court hearings both in-person and virtually.
Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff.
Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice.

What You Bring

Licensed to practice law in New York (required).
3+ years of litigation experience preferred (all qualified applicants considered).
Experience working in a role that focuses on litigation.
Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and driven.
Preferred: Multi-state licensure, bankruptcy or collections experience, federal licensure.

Location & Travel

Location: Remote/Hybrid - Office located in Rochester, NY (14624)
Travel: Court-related travel may be required

Conditions of Work:

Ability to sit or stand for long periods
Ability to remain focused for extended periods
Ability to work on computers for a significant portion of the day
Ability to perform repetitive movements as required for positions (Typing, clicking, swiveling)
Ability to multi-task
