Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. We are hiring for full time including Saturdays.

In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help streamline daily operations, support patient care, and uphold the highest standards of health information management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a busy medical practice, utilizing your expertise in medical administrative support, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional patient service and guiding them through check-in and check-out procedures
Manage appointment scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance documentation review with attention to detail
Collect patient information accurately, including intake forms, medical history, and demographic data, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Assist with medical billing processes by coding procedures using CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 codes, and supporting documentation review
Maintain organized medical records and files in compliance with health information management standards such as HIPAA and EHR system protocols
Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, practicing excellent phone etiquette while scheduling appointments or responding to patient inquiries
Support clinical staff by managing front desk duties, including filing, data entry.

Requirements:

Strong customer service orientation combined with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Punctuality and strong attendance is a must
Ability to work Saturdays
