Full Job Description

A private social club for prominent women founded one hundred years ago in Rochester has part-time service openings for hospitality minded individuals that offers mostly lunches, Monday through Friday with a weekly dinner or weekend service. Club dining amenities include indoor and outdoor seating, formal and informal settings, as well as a variety of space for private events. Providing world class dining service to our members and their guests is integral to our continued success. Additionally, the member and guest experience is paramount to us; this is not your typical restaurant environment where the goal is to "turn" your tables or section as quickly as possible. Rather, our servers work hard to create a personalized experience for each member and their guest taking the time to provide a high level of care and attention to each table.

Our valued servers are eligible for benefits when they average working 20 hours per week or more. Benefits include health care contribution, paid time off, vacation time, and a holiday bonus. Regardless of the number of hours averaged per week, all employees receive a meal each day.

Essential job duties include:

Meet, greet, and seat club members and guests upon arrival.
Receive and deliver food and beverage orders according to our service standards.
Ability to adapt service style between a la carte and banquet style serving.
Ability to carry a banquet tray.
Ability to complete all assigned side work working in a team to maximize efficiency.
Inform supervisor of complaints or concerns in an expedient fashion.
Learning club members’ names over time and addressing them by their surname once known.
Maintain safe food and beverage handling practices.
Demonstrate adequate personal hygiene.
Ability to adapt to a variety of personality types.
Consistently, neatly, and accurately set tables per the direction of the Dining Room Manager.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
