Job Description: Installation Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and accountable Installation Project Manager to own the execution of residential remodeling projects from estimate through final walkthrough. This role bridges the gap between design and the field: you'll estimate jobs before they're sold, confirm scope is accurate, and then see each project through to a completed installation and a confident customer. You'll work closely with the Installation Department and designers, but the numbers and the outcome on every job you run are yours.

Key Responsibilities

Estimate installation jobs, quoting cost and scope accurately before the sale
Confirm that quoted scope matches what the job actually requires once work begins
Coordinate project scheduling with the Installation Department and designers
Manage job costs and protect the margin each job was priced to make
Work with the Installation Department to help identify the right internal crew or subcontractor for each job
Build homeowner confidence in the install team throughout the project
Identify and document change orders when project scope changes mid-job
Communicate site readiness for deliveries, templates, inspections, and subcontractors
Document project status and updates in KSI's CRM/project management system (Buildertrend)
Provide excellent customer service and uphold KSI's core values

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, or installation project management
Ability to estimate labor, material cost, and installation time from plans or a site walk
Experience coordinating subcontractors or internal install crews
Comfort working independently in the field and solving problems on the fly
Strong communication skills, you'll be the point of contact for customers, subs, and internal teams
Familiarity with remodeling environments and working in occupied homes
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Experience with Buildertrend or similar job/project management software is a plus

Competitive base salary plus uncapped performance commission, with target total compensation of $65,000–$90,000+ based on job volume and execution
