Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: Quad Cities Wellness Clinic – Moline, IL
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30a-5p, Tuesday, 7:30a-12p
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

About Us:
Quad Cities Wellness Clinic is a well-established Family Medicine and Weight Loss clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to our community. We take pride in creating a welcoming environment for both patients and staff. As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team and help support our mission of promoting health and wellness.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and dependable Certified Medical Assistant with at least 5 years of clinical experience. The ideal candidate is confident in both front and back office duties, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and room patients, take vital signs, and obtain thorough medical histories
Prepare patient charts for exams, assist providers where needed
Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed
Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and other diagnostic tests as needed
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supply inventory
Educate patients on medications, weight loss programs, and care plans
Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-ups
Support front desk operations as needed (check-in, scheduling, phones)

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from an accredited program
Minimum 5 years of hands-on medical assisting experience
Prior experience in family medicine and/or weight loss clinics strongly preferred
Proficiency with EMR systems (experience with Practice Fusion is a plus)
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Current BLS certification required
