Full Job Description

Taiga Building Products - Rocklin Branch has a full-time, permanent Inside Sales Representative position available, reporting to the Sales Manager. Responsibilities include maximizing sales opportunities through outbound calls, managing customer relationships, and leading product categories. This role offers the opportunity for skill growth in a creative and collaborative environment.

We are an international wholesale distributor of building products, with over 50 years legacy of serving the retail and industrial sectors across Canada and the United States. Main Responsibilities & Duties:

Create sales and complete the order process, including offering pricing and terms according to established margins and generating sales orders.
Ensure customers are provided with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information.
Prepare quotations and process orders on behalf of other sales staff when needed.
Respond to customers' requests and inquiries in a timely manner, including advising on detailed product knowledge.
Manage product lines within the branch, including managing inventory, pricing, product knowledge training, attending national calls, and being accountable for turns and earnings.
Conduct outside sales calls, oversee inventory management, and monitor commodity market pricing.

The Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience, required
Passionate about growth, success, and continual learning.
Has business-to-business sales experience.
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
Forward-thinking mindset to engage new ideas and concepts.
Technologically skilled, proficient at using technology to enhance performance.
A great communicator with solid people skills and the ability to build long-term relationships.
Disciplined and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge or experience managing products is an asset.

COMPENSATION:

Annual Salary: $Min 75,000.00 $Max 85,000.00
