Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings, is highly valued. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish. Candidates should be comfortable with Toast POS systems, and possess strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet guests promptly and professionally.
Guide guests through their dining experience with knowledge and hospitality focus
Take and submit food and beverage orders through a point of sale system.
Communicate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen and bar.
Deliver food and beverages accurately and ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with service staff to clear and reset tables efficiently.
Prepare checks, process payments, and ensure timely return of change or charge slips.
Assist with cleaning and maintaining the dining area and other restaurant tasks as needed.
Participate in Pre-Shift meetings and stay informed about menu items.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of previous restaurant experience required; fine-dining experience preferred.
Maintain a BASSET and ServSafe Food Handlers Certification.
Extensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation and handling.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Point of Sale systems.
Must be able to work Weekends, Evenings and Holidays
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
