Full Job Description

The Senior Corporate Paralegal provides comprehensive legal and administrative support to the organization across commercial real estate transactions, litigation management, corporate governance, contract administration, and risk management. This role serves as a key partner to the CEO and COO, outside counsel, and government agencies, ensuring legal matters are managed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and manage real estate legal documents.
Prepare and summarize purchase and sale agreements, leases, amendments, and other transactional documents.
Track critical dates, contingencies, due diligence requirements, and closing deadlines.
Obtain and organize due diligence materials for acquisitions.

Litigation Management

Support litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Maintain litigation tracking systems and legal matter databases.
Coordinate with outside counsel regarding case status, document requests, discovery responses, and deadlines.
Conduct factual investigations and public records research.
Manage legal holds and preservation of documents.
Prepare legal summaries and case status reports for leadership and counsel.

Corporate Governance & Compliance

Assist with corporate entity management and maintenance of corporate records.
Coordinate filings with state and local government agencies.
Obtain corporate documents, certificates, and business registrations.

Contract Administration

Draft, review, summarize, and track contracts and legal agreements.
Monitor contract obligations, renewal dates, and critical deadlines.

Legal Research & Administrative Support

Proofread legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field required.
Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution required.
Minimum 10 years of progressive paralegal experience supporting commercial real estate and corporate legal matters.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions.
Working knowledge of litigation procedures, court filings, and case management.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Advanced proficiency in using Teams.

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods.
Ability to review and analyze large volumes of documentation.
Required to work in the corporate office. This is not a remote position.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
