Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and compliant individual and business tax returns.
Gather and review client documents for completeness and accuracy.
Identify potential tax-saving opportunities for clients.
Educate clients on tax concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
Utilize our secure portal and proprietary software to process returns efficiently.
Stay up to date on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Provide exceptional customer service and follow up promptly with clients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in tax preparation is preferred, but training is available for motivated beginners.
A PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) is optional before starting but required to file tax returns.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Excellent communication skills with a client-first mindset.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
Comfortable working remotely and using virtual communication tools to collaborate with the Stellar Tax Co. team.
