We are actively seeking a compassionate Primary Therapist or Counselor to join us in our mission to empower individuals to achieve their true potential and lead fulfilling lives. As a Primary Therapist or Counselor with us, you will play a pivotal role in providing outpatient therapeutic services to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling using person-centered therapy techniques to inspire personal growth and positive change.
Maintain strict confidentiality of client records.
Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies to address their challenges.
Offer psychological counseling to individuals dealing with PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, and other mental health issues.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' needs, progress, and risk factors.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
Facilitate group therapy sessions to support clients in processing traumatic experiences.
Deliver individual therapy sessions to clients struggling with substance use and trauma-related symptoms.
Timeliness with notes and documentation to ensure compliance and maintain workflow.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Therapist role within a Substance Use Disorder or Mental Health facility.
Strong understanding of human behavior, psychological research methods, and assessment and treatment techniques for behavioral and affective disorders.
Knowledge of group dynamics, cultural influences, and societal trends.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service and personalized care.
Ability to meet time lines with clinical notes and time management around group facilitation.

Education and Experience:

Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a clinical therapist.
Experience in treating Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health challenges is required.
Previous experience as a Primary Therapist in a Residential or PHP/IOP program is advantageous.
Must hold appropriate state credentials and licensing.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work for prolonged periods at a desk and use a computer.
Capable of lifting up to 15 pounds when necessary.
