Our privately owned Prosthodontic Dental practice is looking for a qualified Front Office Administrator who will make our office more efficient and pleasant for patients. We want you to be experienced in providing direct and indirect patient care while being able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. You'll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off our dentist's shoulders.

Responsibilities

Greeting and checking in patients upon arrival, ensuring all paperwork is completed
Scheduling and managing patient appointments, using Dentrix software
Proficient in Hygiene Recall systems
Handling billing inquiries and processing payments
Maintaining patient records with utmost confidentiality
Coordinating with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and treatment planning
Answering phone calls, emails, and addressing patient inquiries

Required Skills and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a dental office is required
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Proficient in basic computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills required
Attention to detail is a must
Well-organized and reliable
Knowledge of the Dentrix software required

We will consider the right individual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn who desires to enter the dental field in lieu of experience, as this has worked out well for our office in the past.

Schedule, Benefits, and Perks

Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM- 5:00 PM- Fridays by appointment
32 hours a week, with additional hours as needed

Dr. Shaw's qualifications speak for themselves. He is a board-certified prosthodontist who is currently a member of the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantology, International Academy of Gnathology, ADA, TDA, Capital Area Dental Society, and the American College of Prosthodontics.
