IT Support Analyst

Location: Austin, TX

INFINITEK is proud to be representing an established and rapidly growing technology infrastructure organization in the search for an IT Support Analyst to join their team in Austin, Texas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, supporting end users, and working with modern enterprise technologies. You'll play a key role in ensuring employees have reliable access to the systems, hardware, and applications they need to keep the business running efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

As an IT Support Analyst, you'll serve as a primary point of contact for technical support across the organization, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the reliability and security of IT systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

Responding to and resolving hardware, software, network, and application support requests
Providing first and second-line technical support to employees both remotely and onsite
Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
Creating, managing, and troubleshooting user accounts within Active Directory and Microsoft 365
Supporting Windows operating systems and standard business applications
Diagnosing network connectivity issues including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and remote access
Managing IT support tickets while ensuring service level agreements are consistently achieved
Escalating complex technical issues to senior engineers where appropriate
Assisting with workstation deployments, hardware refreshes, and employee onboarding/offboarding
Maintaining accurate documentation, asset inventories, and knowledge base articles
Supporting cybersecurity best practices including endpoint protection, MFA, and user awareness
Assisting with software deployments, updates, and patch management
Collaborating with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems teams on IT improvement projects

What We're Looking For

Experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or Help Desk role
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments
Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Office applications
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, and user account administration
Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, Freshservice, or similar
Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless connectivity
Experience configuring laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset
Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
Experience with PowerShell, Intune, SCCM, or endpoint management tools is advantageous
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or ITIL are beneficial but not essential
