Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Ultrasound Technician, a vital role dedicated to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services that enhance patient care and support clinical decision-making. In this position, you will utilize advanced ultrasound equipment to produce clear, detailed images of internal structures, with a focus on maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and general diagnostic radiology. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging will directly contribute to accurate diagnoses and positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound examinations across various specialties, including maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn, ensuring precise imaging aligned with physician orders.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the imaging session.
Apply aseptic techniques diligently to maintain a sterile environment during invasive or sensitive procedures.
Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently, adjusting settings to optimize image quality based on anatomy knowledge and specific clinical needs.
Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret images accurately and relay critical findings promptly.
Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, images, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Uphold patient care standards by demonstrating excellent communication skills, empathy, and professionalism at all times.

Experience

Proven experience in medical imaging, particularly in sonography or diagnostic radiology settings.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound procedures.
Hands-on experience with maternal-fetal medicine techniques and obstetric ultrasound is highly preferred.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols within clinical environments.
Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
