Full Job Description

We are recruiting Critical Facilities Technicians, I, II, and Lead (Day & Night Shift Available), to operate and maintain a brand-new, cutting-edge data center facility in Lancaster, TX, just south of Dallas. Position Offers

Above market Pay: CFT $37-55/hr, + 10% night shift differential, + eight hours of built-in OT pay every other week

This role follows a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shift schedule. Never work more than three scheduled days in a row, enjoy a three-day weekend every other week, and work approximately 15 days per month.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain critical and non-critical equipment and systems to ensure 100% uptime at a mission critical data center.
Oversee power, cooling, and environmental conditions within data halls.
Manage planned and unplanned work, including preventive maintenance, using a CMMS.
Assist in creating, revising, and executing operating procedures and PM inspections.
Troubleshoot and document electrical and mechanical issues, resolve them quickly, and escalate appropriately.
Manage and respond to emergencies and critical issues for complete recovery.
Assist with physical and logical installations and adhere to change control activities.
Handle assigned tasks efficiently and effectively manage/escort external contractors.
Follow all employer policies, procedures, and safety laws, and maintain accurate facility data.
Assist with general facility operations, training, and construction/commissioning projects as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior military or technical school training, preferred
For the CFTII and Lead roles, 2-3 years of experience working in a data center or mission critical environments; this experience is not required for the CFTI role.
Experience with building electrical, mechanical, BMS and fire systems, preferred
Electrical or mechanical license (HVAC), preferred
