Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Deck Builder and bring outdoor living spaces to life! In this role, you will be responsible for constructing durable, high-quality decks that enhance the beauty and functionality of residential and commercial properties. Your expertise in framing, carpentry, and finishing will help transform blueprints into stunning outdoor retreats. We are committed to providing a paid, engaging environment where your skills in metal building erection, concrete forming, and various construction techniques will shine. Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise deck construction.
Build sturdy deck frames using carpentry, framing, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry techniques.
Install support structures including metal building components and concrete footings with proper rebar placement and concrete forming.
Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, and assemble materials such as wood, metal, and composite decking.
Perform rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry tasks, roofing, siding, stucco application, and plastering as needed for structural integrity.
Manage site safety protocols while conducting heavy lifting and handling hand tools to ensure a secure work environment.
Coordinate with project managers to adhere to project timelines and quality standards while maintaining efficient workflow on-site.

Experience

Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on deck building or related carpentry projects.
Skilled in metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, roofing, siding, stucco, and plastering.
Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution.
Ability to operate power tools such as saws, drills, grinders along with heavy equipment when necessary.
Knowledge of construction management principles to oversee multiple phases of deck projects effectively.
Hands-on experience with woodworking, trim carpentry, restoration work, siding installation, remodeling projects and heavy lifting tasks.
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites including the use of hand tools and power tools.
