Food Services Supervisor

Join our growing team in Bradenton, Florida, as we expand our senior living community and elevate our culinary offerings. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Services Supervisor to lead our Food Service Department, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our residents. If you have a passion for working with seniors and a strong background in food management, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the Food Service Department, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to deliver excellent service and cuisine
Prepare and cook gourmet meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of senior residents
Develop and implement menus that are nutritious, appealing, and innovative
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and food handling standards
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize departmental resources
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that encourages professional growth and collaboration

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior food management role
Proven management experience in food service operations
Passion for working with seniors and understanding their unique dietary needs
Strong culinary skills with the ability to prepare exquisite, delicious meals
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
