Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Kitchen Manager/Lead Cook to oversee daily culinary operations in a dynamic food service environment. Your leadership will drive efficient kitchen management, menu planning, and inventory control, fostering a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere that elevates the dining experience for all guests. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food preparation teams, to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food production, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
Implement and enforce food safety sanitizing procedures and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
Plan menus that balance creativity with cost efficiency while catering to dietary needs and special requests
Monitor shift schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and manage labor costs to maximize productivity
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and training staff on proper food handling and kitchen safety procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service management with a strong background in restaurant environments specifically pizza establishment's
Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and fine dining standards
Supervising experience leading kitchen teams in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or banquet facilities
Knowledge of inventory management, cost control strategies, and food industry best practices
Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures, dietary department standards, and health regulations
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in menu planning, shift management, and quality assurance
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards of hospitality and service excellence
