Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and adherence to safety standards. Your culinary expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring every plate meets our high-quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while working alongside talented kitchen staff committed to teamwork and excellence.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors.
Follow food safety protocols and handle food properly to maintain hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming dishes and offering input on new recipes.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances through regular cleaning and sanitation.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service.
Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to portion control and presentation standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a food service environment, such as restaurants or catering settings.
Strong culinary skills including knife techniques, slicing methods, and food preparation.
Knowledge of safety standards in food production and food handling practices.
Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency across dishes.
Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus.
