The BLVD! is Greater Sacramento’s home for good eats, vibrant drinks, and next-level entertainment. From bowling and laser tag to arcade games, billiards, and VIP event spaces, we specialize in creating experiences guests remember. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Event Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and is passionate about delivering flawless events.

Position Overview
As Event Manager, you’ll be the point person ensuring every detail of our events is executed to perfection. From reviewing contracts and confirming guest counts to leading event day operations, you’ll keep our team organized, our guests delighted, and our events running smoothly. This role combines hospitality, leadership, and operational excellence to make The BLVD! the region’s top choice for private events and celebrations.

What You’ll Do

Oversee all guest communication in Tripleseat and email, ensuring inquiries and bookings receive timely, professional responses.
Audit event contracts for accuracy—verifying timelines, packages, deposits, balances, food/beverage counts, entertainment, tax, and gratuity.
Manage event timelines with precision, including guest touchpoints such as 7-day and 3-day confirmation emails.
Reconcile events daily, collect payments, send thank-you messages and surveys, and allocate gratuities to staff.
Partner with the kitchen team by maintaining and double-checking kitchen sheets weekly and daily for accuracy.
Build weekly event staffing schedules in Paylocity based on bookings.
Lead pre-shift team meetings on event days, reviewing BEOs, timelines, and guest expectations.
Ensure flawless execution of events, including setup, food and beverage service, and overall guest experience.
Conduct inventory of linens, tableware, and event supplies, ensuring readiness for upcoming events.
Walk through VIP spaces daily to guarantee they are presentation-ready for tours and potential clients.
Update event schedules promptly when last-minute events are added.
Support event booking calls and emails when the Event Coordinator is unavailable to ensure no guest is left waiting.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in event management, banquet management, or hospitality leadership.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple events at once.
Proficiency in event management systems (Tripleseat experience is a major plus).
Excellent communication and guest service skills.
A leadership style that motivates and inspires teams.
Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering top-notch guest experiences.
