Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist specializing in Outpatient Pelvic Health to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on innovative treatment strategies for pelvic floor conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong love for pelvic health. Pay will be consistent with experience. There is opportunity for training as a pelvic health therapist, but experience and at least one pelvic health course is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients’ physical conditions related to pelvic health and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards.
Implement evidence-based therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other manual therapies to promote patient recovery.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care and discharge planning.
Manage outpatient rehabilitation sessions, including patient education on physiology, anatomy, and self-care strategies.
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Provide care for patients across various settings including outpatient clinics, hospital environments, and home health visits.
Engage in ongoing professional development related to orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, pediatrics, and community care to enhance treatment efficacy.

Qualifications

Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist with practicing experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings.
Demonstrated expertise in physiotherapy techniques relevant to pelvic health, orthopedics, neurology, and geriatrics.
Proven ability to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate discharge planning and patient rehabilitation goals.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical documentation standards.
Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as EMR platforms is preferred.
Familiarity with inpatient hospital experience or outpatient clinic operations enhances the candidate’s profile.
Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach toward patient education and engagement.
