Territory Sales Representative – Optical / Eyewear Outside Sales

St. Louis Territory | Full-Time | W-2 Statutory Sales Role | Uncapped Commission
Expected Earnings: $72,000–$110,000+
Compensation: Base/draw plus commission, opening-order commissions, reorder commissions, volume accelerators, and cash spiff incentives
Work Location: On the road

Build a high-earning sales territory with an independent eyewear brand

MOREL is a rapidly growing independent eyewear manufacturer partnering with Independent Eyecare Professionals to offer premium frames with modern style, exceptional comfort, and patient-friendly value.

We are looking for a competitive, self-directed outside sales professional who is motivated by uncapped earning potential, new business development, and the opportunity to build a territory like their own business.

This territory offers tremendous room for growth through new business development, account expansion, and reactivating underdeveloped customers.

This is not a desk job. It is a field sales role for someone who enjoys being on the road, walking into practices, creating opportunities, and turning consistent activity into long-term income.

The opportunity

You will not be stepping into a maintenance-only role. You will be responsible for building momentum, developing trust with practices, expanding visibility for the MOREL brand, and creating repeatable reorder revenue.

This is a strong fit for someone who sees opportunity in a territory that needs focus, consistency, and a true hunter mindset.

Is motivated by uncapped commission, clear targets, and performance-based rewards.
Enjoys outside B2B sales, prospecting, route planning, and face-to-face relationship building.
Can confidently walk into optical practices, start conversations, and create opportunities.
Knows how to influence not only the buyer, but also opticians, office managers, and front-line staff.
Understands that eyewear sell-through depends on staff education, merchandising, and follow-up.
Can turn product presentations, Lunch & Learns, trunk shows, and display resets into reorder growth.
Is comfortable making 6–8 in-person practice visits per day.
Treats the territory like a business and uses activity, organization, and persistence to drive revenue.

What you’ll do

Grow and manage the Georgia territory by introducing MOREL to independent eyecare practices.
Prospect new optical accounts and create opportunities with independent optometrists, opticians, and practice owners.
Re-engage inactive or underdeveloped accounts and rebuild momentum in the territory.
Strengthen relationships with optical staff, office managers, buyers, and decision-makers.
Secure prime, eye-level board space and keep MOREL displays fresh, organized, and commercially effective.
Run product presentations, Lunch & Learns, trunk shows, and staff education sessions.
Help practices understand how to present and recommend the MOREL collection to patients.
Drive automatic and manual reorders through consistent follow-up and sell-through support.
Plan efficient field routes, maintain account notes, and manage territory activity with discipline.
Track results, identify growth opportunities, and adjust your territory plan based on performance.

Compensation plan

This role is designed for a sales professional who wants their income tied to performance.

Compensation includes:

Expected annual earnings of $72,000–$110,000+
Base/draw plus commission
Uncapped commission opportunity
Premium commission on new practice opening orders
Reorder commissions on automatic and manual account reorders
Monthly volume-tier accelerators
Retroactive commission bumps when shipment milestones are achieved
Cash spiff incentives tied to practice promotions and growth initiatives

Top performers have the opportunity to exceed the listed range through uncapped commission, reorder growth, volume accelerators, and incentive payouts.

Employment status and support

This is a full-time W-2 statutory sales role covering the St. Louis territory.

Basic requirements

2+ years of outside sales experience.
Optical, eyewear, medical device, wholesale, or B2B territory sales experience strongly preferred.
Existing relationships with independent optometrists, opticians, office managers, or optical buyers preferred, but not required.
Proven ability to prospect, present, follow up, and close.
Strong communication, organization, and route-planning skills.
Self-directed, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
Comfortable with full-day route sales and frequent in-person practice visits.
Ability to lift and carry sample bags and display cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Ability to cover the assigned territory.
