Full Job Description

Future Foam is a leading manufacturer of polyurethane foam, carpet cushion, and comfort products serving customers throughout North America. We are looking for an experienced manufacturing leader to oversee our Orlando, Florida facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Plant Manager who is passionate about operational excellence, employee development, continuous improvement, and building a culture where safety comes first.

The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the facility, providing leadership for production, quality, safety, maintenance, and employee engagement while ensuring exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of daily plant operations to achieve safety, quality, production, delivery, and financial objectives.
Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and employees to build a highly engaged, accountable workforce.
Foster a culture built on trust, communication, respect, and teamwork.
Establish performance expectations and hold teams accountable for achieving operational goals.
Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, quality, and profitability.
Manage plant budgets, labor, production costs, and overall operational performance.
Partner with corporate leadership and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and customer requirements.
Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while planning for future organizational growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
5–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including experience managing a manufacturing facility.
Proven success leading teams in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, budgeting, production planning, supply chain, and workforce development.
Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma initiatives.
Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
Ability to travel up to 5%.
