Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, CNC gearing machines to produce high-quality precision components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality and safety.

Duties

Operate CNC machines such as milling, lathes, and gearing machines according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to ensure precise manufacturing.
Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify part dimensions.
Maintain machine calibration and troubleshoot mechanical or electronic issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper use of hand tools, tooling, and facility safety procedures to ensure a secure work environment.

Skills

Proficiency operating CNC machinery.
Experience operating various manufacturing equipment such as milling, lathes, and gearing machines.
Ability to read complex blueprints accurately and apply GD&T standards for quality assurance.
Mechanical aptitude with manufacturing experience in machining environments.
Familiarity with quality control procedures using precision measuring instruments like manual micrometers and calipers.
Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to machine measurements.
Experience working in a manufacturing facility with a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
