Your Specific Responsibilities:
Installing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting multiple computer systems for use by end-users, including hardware, software, and communications components of the distributed systems.
Monitors servers with appropriate software
Analyze and resolve hardware, software and telecommunications issues using diagnostic software and/or technical trouble shooting processes.
Maintains all current inventory for FDOH-Nassau, including annual sanitizing and disposal of distributed processing hardware and software.
Communicates on a regular basis with users to assess hardware and software functionality and determines computer resource needs
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Knowledge of Security systems
- Ability to collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to troubleshoot various systems (eg. Phone lines, computer, peripheral devises) and make recommended fixes.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- IT Help Desk experience
- Ability to troubleshoot computer devices and peripherals
- Knowledge of Windows operating system.
- Customer Service Skills
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred:
- CompTIA A+ Certificate
- Knowledge of Network Configurations
- Ability to monitor and maintain asset inventory
- Building Security Applications experience
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments
- Ability to process information and solve problems.
