Electrical Maintenance Specialist- Join our growing team at GrafTech!

GrafTech USA LLC is the leader in the graphite electrode industry focused on maximizing customers’ bottom lines and providing unparalleled service, while developing cutting-edge technology that sets the standard in the steel industry.

GrafTech has an opening for an Electrical Maintenance Specialist at our St. Marys, PA facility. This position will be on a modified DuPont schedule. Shift rotates, one week M-Thurs 6a-6p and the following week M-W 6p-6a. This is a large industrial setting and work conditions can involve both indoor and outdoor operations. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Perform necessary inspection and repair to all plant equipment while following site and regulatory health, safety & environmental policies, and procedures.
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on, motors, cranes, lathes, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other production machines: ability to read blueprints, sketches, operations manuals, engineering specifications and troubleshooting malfunctions.
Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using specialized maintenance tools and measuring devices.
Working at heights, and outdoor environments year-round.

The ideal candidate would possess five years industrial maintenance experience. A technical training degree or equivalent experience is a plus. Electrical experience is preferred. Experience with mig and stick welding is also preferred.
