Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a positive, dynamic, and highly organized Front Desk Coordinator to add to our brand new dental practice. This vital role combines administrative expertise with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The Dental Administrator will oversee daily office functions and manage financial and clinical records. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and a background in dental or medical office front desk, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our vibrant dental community.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling and confirming appointments, patient intake, and clinical documentation to ensure seamless patient flow.
Oversee fiscal management tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance claims processing. Verify insurance benefits and submit claims.
Maintain accurate medical records/correspondence and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
Present treatment plans and collect payments
Check patients in and out
Manage office email and online communications
Coordinate referrals and outside specialists
Monitor office supplies
Assist with marketing initiatives, social media, community outreach, and special events as needed.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
Support the doctor and team with additional administrative and operational duties as needed
Perform other duties as assigned to support the daily operations, growth, and success of O Dental while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and customer service.

Requirements

Proven experience in dental office front desk with a strong understanding of healthcare operations.
Knowledge of dental terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and billing procedures.
Familiarity with clinic experience in dental or healthcare environments.
Strong organizational skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to coordinate between staff, patients, and external providers.
