Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash regularly.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas when required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques.
Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus.
Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene are met.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
