Full Job Description

Step into a rewarding role where you will make a measurable difference in children’s lives as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll have the opportunity to work with pediatric populations, helping students develop essential communication skills in a supportive educational environment. As a contract position, this opportunity offers flexibility and the chance to gain valuable experience working alongside dedicated professionals.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially within school settings, is highly valued
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
Comfortable with assessment, intervention, and documentation for a variety of speech and language disorders

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain documentation according to school and government guidelines
Deliver direct therapy to students in individual and group settings
Collaborate closely with other educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school environment
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningful input to multidisciplinary teams
Adapt therapy to be engaging and effective for diverse learners
