Full Job Description

We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for our civil construction division. Candidates must have strong, hands-on experience operating loaders, excavators, dozers, and other earthmoving equipment in site development and underground utility environments.

Position Responsibilities:

Operate excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, and other heavy equipment in support of civil sitework and earthmoving projects
Perform mass grading, fine grading, trenching, backfilling, and material placement
Excavate for underground utilities including water, sewer, and storm systems
Maintain proper slopes, elevations, and grade tolerances
Load trucks and move materials efficiently while maintaining safe jobsite awareness
Conduct daily pre- and post-trip equipment inspections
Work closely with foremen and grade checkers to meet project specifications and timelines

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in civil construction and site development
Proficiency operating loaders, excavators, and dozers (multi-equipment experience strongly preferred)
Ability to read grade stakes, laser levels, and/or site plans
Strong understanding of jobsite safety and underground hazard awareness
Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying site conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
