TRAVEL CT/X-RAY TECHNOLOGIST - Eagle Butte, South Dakota

Pay: $80/hour

Location: Cheyenne River Health Center Radiology Department
Eagle Butte, SD

Job Type: Contract | Full-Time | Long-Term

Looking for a new CT/X-Ray Technologist opportunity? Join the Radiology Department at Cheyenne River Health Center in Eagle Butte, South Dakota, and earn $75/hour while working a long-term contract with the opportunity for additional option years.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic CT/X-Ray Technologist who is highly proficient in CT and diagnostic radiography and is comfortable working rotating shifts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Perform a variety of CT and diagnostic radiographic examinations
Operate computerized tomography and diagnostic radiography equipment
Work with Siemens SOMATOM 128-slice CT equipment (previously Toshiba)
Participate in the departmental schedule
Provide training to departmental staff as needed
Maintain patient confidentiality
Follow JCAHO, HIPAA, and Privacy Act requirements
Follow safe radiation protection practices
Occasional on-call coverage may be required

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

Minimum 2 years of experience in CT and diagnostic radiography
Highly proficient experience operating CT equipment
Current ARRT(R) certification
Current BLS certification
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Documentation of annual training in safe radiation protection practices

Preferred

ARRT(CT) certification is desired but not required

CT EXPERIENCE MATTERS

Candidates should have documented CT experience and proficiency, including experience with Siemens SOMATOM 128-slice CT equipment or Toshiba CT equipment.

SCHEDULE

Average 40 hours per week
80 hours per two-week period
Rotating shifts
Shifts are 8–12 hours
Shifts may rotate at any time during the 24-hour period
Rotating workdays, including weekends and holidays
Occasional on-call may be required
