Job Title: Estimator - Commercial HVAC Products

Location: Midvale Utah

Industry: HVAC, Manufacturers Rep Firm

Position: Full Time, In-Office

Compensation: Salary + Bonus

Responsibilities

Monitor the MP-NSW Quote Log daily and update project statuses, outcomes, and relevant notes in real time.
Regularly check and manage the MP-NSW Bid Request email account, ensuring all incoming requests are reviewed, logged, and assigned promptly.
Prioritize and manage time effectively to meet strict bid deadlines and submission requirements.
Create organized job folders (digital and/or physical) for each project opportunity.
Download, review, and file plans, specifications, addenda, and other project documents into the corresponding job folders.
Create new projects in FACTS (or other CRM/ERP system) and add customers requesting bids or quotes.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members (estimators, project managers, sales engineers), manufacturers, contractors, and engineers as needed.
Schedule and create meetings or follow-ups for Target projects and other high-priority opportunities.
Provide administrative and logistical support to Estimators and Project Managers as required, including data entry, document preparation, and follow-up on outstanding items.
Actively participate in sales trainings, team meetings, and manufacturer product sessions to stay informed on HVAC equipment lines and industry trends.
Assist with special projects, reporting, or administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable learning internal software systems (e.g., FACTS, quote logs, cloud storage).
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
